Our Clinic

Our History

baby

Arkansas Pediatric Clinic has a rich history that dates back to 1938 when it was established as the private practice of Dr. Barney Briggs. Notably, it was one of the first pediatric clinics in the state of Arkansas. The clinic initially operated out of the Donaghey Building in Downtown Little Rock, a location that signifies its deep-rooted connection to the community. Over the years, Arkansas Pediatric Clinic has significantly expanded its reach and services. Fro its humble beginnings, the clinic has grown to encompass four distinct locations, each dedicated to serving families and their children across different areas. This expansion reflects the clinic's commitment to accessibility and comprehensive pediatric care.

A key aspect of Arkansas Pediatric Clinic's enduring success and reputation is its team of highly trained pediatricians. The clinic has consistently emphasized the importance of skilled and compassionate healthcare professionals. This focus has been a cornerstone of the clinic's operations, ensuring that each child receives the best possible care tailored to their individual needs.

The clinic's approach to pediatric care extends to offering a "medical home" for children. This concept revolves around providing continuous, comprehensive care for infants, children, and adolescents. It's a philosophy that guides the clinic's efforts in fostering a nurturing and supportive environment for young patients and their families.

The dedication of the clinic's staff is a pivotal component of its operations. The team at Arkansas Pediatric Clinic is committed to delivering the highest quality medical care. This commitment is reflected in their attentive and empathetic approach to treating each child. The staff's dedication is a testament to the clinic's values and mission to prioritize patient care above all else.

.The clinic welcomes and appreciates the interest of new families. Inviting them to visit and meet the team is an extension of their open and community-oriented philosophy. It underscores their readiness to embrace new patients and provide them with excellent care that has been a hallmark of Arkansas Pediatric Clinic since its inception.

This comprehensive approach to pediatric care, combined with its rich history and commitment to community health, makes Arkansas Pediatric Clinic a distinguished and trusted institution in Little Rock and beyond.
