We have a well equipped lab where most tests are done in house.   • Scott Sanders, MD

    Dr. Sanders graduated from Hendrix College in 1991, and got his medical degree from UAMS in 1995. He completed his residency at UAMS and Arkansas Children’s Hospital in 1998 and became board-certified in 2005. Dr. Sanders joined Arkansas Pediatric Clinic in 2003, after working at the Springdale Children’s Clinic for five years. He is a member of the both the national and Arkansas Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

    Dr. Sanders is married to Dr. Laura Sanders, and they have three daughters – twins Sophie and Phoebe and Heidi. The Sanders attend Pulaski Heights Methodist Church. Dr. Sanders enjoys following the Arkansas Razorbacks and spending time with the children. He especially enjoys outdoor activities like riding bikes, hiking, and fishing.

    Dr. Hawkins completed her undergraduate studies at Hendrix College and earned her medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She completed a dual residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at UAMS. Dr. Hawkins began her career practicing both specialties at Main Street Medical Clinic in Benton in October 2003 and has been a dedicated member of Arkansas Pediatric Clinic since January 2009. She maintains her Board Certification in Pediatrics and is an esteemed member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Medical Association (AMA), and the Arkansas Medical Society. Dr. Hawkins has also been recognized as a fellow of the AAP, with a special interest in general pediatrics.

    Married to Jason, Dr. Hawkins is the proud mother of two sons—one starting college in the fall of 2024 and the other in high school. She actively participates in her sons' sporting events, volunteers at their school, is involved in her church, and engages in mission work. In her leisure time, Dr. Hawkins enjoys photography, gardening, and outdoor activities, always cherishing moments spent with her family.

    Dr. Lu received his undergraduate degree from MIT and his medical degree from UAMS. He completed his residency at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. He is board certified and joined Arkansas Pediatric Clinic in July 1998. Dr. Lu is a fellow with theAmerican Academy of Pediatrics, a member of the Pulaski County Medical Society and the Arkansas Medical Society. He is a past Chief of Pediatrics at Baptist Medical Center and has been named Top or Best Pediatrician throughout his career by various publications.

    Organizations he has been involved with include the Child Development Center of First United Methodist Church, QualChoice of Arkansas, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Arkansas Rice Depot, the Arkansas Commission on Eye and Vision Care of School Age Children, the Museum of Discovery, Arkansas Total Care and Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families.

    Dr. Lu and his wife have three children. In his personal time, Dr. Lu enjoys being a dad and traveling.

    Dr. Montgomery completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and pursued her medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she also completed her residency in partnership with Arkansas Children’s Hospital. She joined Arkansas Pediatric Clinic in 1998, following her tenure at Central Arkansas Pediatric Clinic. Dr. Montgomery is an esteemed member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

    Married to Robert, Dr. Montgomery is a devoted mother to three children—Cydney, Landon, and Erin—and a doting grandmother to her 2-year-old granddaughter, Caroline, whom she cherishes spending time with on her days off. An avid lover of the outdoors, she enjoys playing golf and basketball, fishing, hiking, and spending time with her two dogs, Gracie and Harley.

    Dr. Johnson is a board-certified pediatrician, who has practiced at Arkansas Pediatric Clinic for over 40 years. He has served as president of the Pulaski County Medical Society, Arkansas Medical Society, and the Arkansas Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He trained in Arkansas and is proud to provide medical care for the kids of Central Arkansas.

    His areas of interest are children, adolescents and young adults with Autism, Anxiety and ADHD. He also enjoys the opportunity to care for the children of many of the patients he cared for when they were babies. Dr. Johnson is married to Denise, and they have three children – Piper, Parker and Phoebe. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, boating and sunsets at Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs.

    Dr. Duke graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin, and then attended medical school at the University of Tennessee. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has been with Arkansas Pediatric Clinic since completing his residency in July of 2000. Dr. Duke is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Pulaski County Medical Society.

    Dr. Duke is married to Kristin, and they have two children – Caroline and Joshua. The Dukes attend Geyer Springs First Baptist Church. Dr. Duke enjoys sports and physical fitness activities such as running.

    Dr. Bone graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 2006, attended medical school at UAMS Class of 2010, and completed her residency in Pediatrics at UAMS/Arkansas Children’s Hospital in 2013. Dr. Bone joined APC in 2013, and became board certified in Pediatrics the same year. Dr. Bone is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Pulaski County Medical Society. She also serves on the executive committee of the Arkansas Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

    Dr. Bone has two girls, and together they enjoy reading, swimming, and playing outside. On Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, Dr. Bone sees patients in our Maumelle office. On Wednesdays, she sees patients in the West Little Rock office.

    Dr. Sax earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Arkansas in 2001 and pursued her medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. After completing her pediatrics residency at UAMS/Arkansas Children’s Hospital, she joined Arkansas Pediatric Clinic in 2009.

    Dr. Sax is board certified in pediatrics and an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, Pulaski County Medical Society, and the Arkansas Medical Society. She is married and the proud mother of two sons. A parishioner at Christ the King Catholic Church, Dr. Sax values her community involvement. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and cherishing moments spent with her family.

  • Jodi Haltom, APRN

    Jodi Haltom, APRN

    Jodi has been a dedicated Nurse Practitioner since 2017, holding a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with a specialization in Family Practice. Her journey with Arkansas Pediatric Clinic began in 2006 as an LPN for Dr. Johnson. After earning her RN in 2012, Jodi gained valuable experience in Cardiology and the NICU at Arkansas Children's Hospital. Prior to her return to APC, she served at UAMS in Batesville in 2018. Jodi has a deep-rooted passion for pediatrics and is grateful for the opportunity to care for patients of all ages. Her professional interests include Mental Health, Wellness Exams, Newborn Care, and providing breastfeeding education.

    Outside of her professional life, Jodi enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Dax, and their three sons: Locke (5), Lake (3), and Linc (1). Whether she’s playing with her children, cheering on the Razorbacks, or caring for her animals, Jodi cherishes every moment. She is thrilled to continue providing exceptional care to families across Arkansas.

    Courtney Robinson earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and completed her master's degree in 2012 at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She brings over 17 years of experience from her work in the Emergency Room at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

    Courtney is married to Sylas, and together they have two daughters. Their oldest daughter is an Art major at the University of Arkansas, while their youngest attends Little Rock Christian Academy. In her free time, Courtney loves to travel and spend quality time with her family.
