
Gene Lu, MD
Dr. Lu received his undergraduate degree from MIT and attended University of Arkansas Medical School. He did his residency at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. He is board certified and joined Arkansas Pediatric Clinic in July of 1998. Dr. Lu is a fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics, a member of the Pulaski County Medical Society and the Arkansas Medical Society. His areas of interest are international adoptions and families requesting home births. In 2009, Little Rock Family magazine named Dr. Lu Favorite Pediatrician. He is a past Chief of Pediatrics at Baptist Medical Center.
Dr. Lu is married to Katherine and they have three children, Samuel, Thomas and Sophia. He has been involved with the following organizations: Child Development Center of First United Methodist Church, Medical Advisory Committee of QualChoice of Arkansas, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Arkansas Rice Depot, the Arkansas Commission on Eye and Vision Care of School Age Children and the Museum of Discovery. In his personal time, Dr. Lu enjoys being a dad and traveling.
